European wealth manager wished to diversify their client base by establishing a presence in the UK as they were keen to advise UK resident clients. Moneysmith was engaged to help develop the business case, define the target operating model and provide a framework within which an advisory business could be established. Wealth manager had proprietary discretionary offering but wished to also access popular UK funds, investment trusts as well as ETF’s. It was important that the UK business could integrate into their existing avaloq platform.
Solution developed that allowed a popular UK platform to integrate through third party API’s into avaloq allowing business to launch into UK.
